TechBase Company is our supplier of equipment in the field of industrial automation. We use several devices, such as:
  1. USB to RS485 Converter - Model: I-7563
  2. Analog Input Module: M-7017C

Distributed inputs system is used to collect measurement data from the process of clinker in rotary kilns.

System description:

  • PC with SCADA software installed.
  • Converter USB / 3 x RS-485 - a communications protocol: ModBus RTU.
  • Distributed access system for collecting data from a current object in the form of current signals: 4 .. 20mA.

My opinions about devices:

  • Device configuring using the supplied software: easy
  • Stability, detection of defects: no problems
  • Wiring the system, etc.: poses no problems
  • Cost of the system: low
