KIEN5000 to zarządzalny switch ethernetowy, posiadający 8 portów 10/100Base-T(X), montowany na szynie DIN. Obsługuje protokoły DT-Ring, rozwijane przez firmę Kyland do tworzenia redundantnych sieci ringowych. KIEN5000 zaopatrzony jest również w podwójne redundantne wejście zasilające. Dzięki wykorzystaniu interfejsu Web, Kyland5000 jest łatwy w instalacji i zarządzaniu.
